Here at SusWoT we’re all looking forward to the Warmer Westbury Homes Fair next Saturday from 10am-4pm in Westbury-on-Trym Village Hall (BS9 4AG). Free entry to the event with free refreshments. There will be children’s activities so you can take your time chatting to our experts. Check out our list of exhibitors and stalls here.
We have arranged visits to homes around Westbury-on-Trym that already have air source heat pumps and/or solar panels and batteries.
Bristol has been chosen to be one of three cities that will run a programme to develop the skills and knowledge to install heat pumps.
SusWoT have linked up with a local organisation called CHEESE who will make a video showing the heat loss in your home and give advice on how to improve things.
In association with the Parish Church, we are taking advantage of a professional energy advice service offered by the Centre for Sustainable Energy based in Bedminster.
Meet us at Westbury on Trym Primary School “Red Squirrel Day” Saturday 18th June 1-4pm. This is the school’s summer fete.
A first step in plans to see whether as a community we can reduce the Westbury’s carbon footprint.
