We’re back! Join us at the second Warmer Westbury Homes Fair on Saturday 8th November in the Village Hall.
SusWoT has been working with Retrofit West to encourage householders to make their home more energy-efficient. Last year’s energy fair was very successful connecting over 200 residents with suppliers, experts and enthusiasts in the Westbury-on-Trym Village Hall.
The aim is to encourage everybody to take action – whether that’s simple, low-cost DIY or installing the latest hi-tech solutions.
We’ve invited a range of local suppliers who are installing solar panels, batteries, heat pumps and insulation across BS9 and beyond. Advisors will be on hand to talk about thermal imaging surveys, home energy assessments and retrofit plans. You’ll also be able to find out more about local residents’ projects – both big and small – and look at samples of materials and kit. A range of hands-on activities for all ages will be available along with free refreshments.
It can be daunting knowing where to begin making your home more energy-efficient, but you don’t have to do everything at once. Come along to the fair, speak to experts and local householders and see what you can do to take the next step.
