SusWoT organised a successful litter pick at Crow Lane open space and collected 20 sacks of litter.
Every evening from 6pm until about 8pm this week, Monday 20 to Friday 24 July, SusWot will be Balsam Bashing the Trym.
SusWoT have collected 40 sacks of litter in 6 picks starting on 6 July.
The Westbury-on-Trym Library Group with help from SusWoT have planted a selection of runner beans to replace the broad beans.
With the easing of the lockdown, regular cleaning activities, with appropriate caution, can start at the beginning of July.
The beans sown in February are now being harvested and reports are that they are delicious.
We are still providing seeds and plants this year even though the local fairs have been cancelled. See what’s available.
The next SusWoT litter pick will be on Sunday 23 February. We are almost certain to be doing work to clean up the River Trym and Hazel Brook.
Despite the grim weather forecast on Sunday morning SusWoT did not cancel their planned litter pick of the Trym valleys.
