As usual, SusWoT volunteers have raised hundreds of tomato plants from seed. We will be selling the plants this Saturday, 9th May 11am-3pm, outside Holy Trinity Church in the centre of the village (BS9 3EQ). We’ll have Alicante, Sungold and Tumbling Toms tomatoes – all of which can be grown outside. There will also be a selection of chillies, cucumbers, courgettes, and butternut squash.
Come along and pick up some plants, plant food and advice so you can get growing your own food at home.
While you’re there, the church bellringers will be running tours to the top of the tower from 11:00 am, and The Well will be selling cream teas from noon.
If you want some plants but can’t make it on the 9th then please contact us and we’ll let you know what’s still available.
