There were 13 SusWoT members cleaning up rubbish in Westbury on Sunday 25 November.
18 bags of rubbish were collected, but the triumph for the day was getting out the last motor bike.
SusWoT are looking to work with Friends of Blaise and Friends of Badock’s Wood to see if they can improve the quality of wildlife in the Trym area.
Five of us spent a few hours of the bank holiday in and around the Trym, clearing out an array of junk and litter.
The rain over the weekend of 26th and 27th July proved a huge accidental boost to the project to clean the Trym.
…you’re in for a big – pile of rubbish? At least, you would have been if you’d strolled past the Coombe Dingle car park at the start of August.
We plan to spend four days cleaning the Trym, from Monday 30 July until Thursday 2 August, weather permitting.
