SusWoT to help litter picking in Southmead
SusWoT will help Sustainable Southmead in their campaign to clear the litter across Southmead. This will be part of the Great British September Clean. The litter picking campaign is part of the national campaign run by Keep Britain Tidy and runs from Friday 11 September until Sunday 27 September.
All the litter picks will start in Arnside BS10 6 AT. Weekday picks will start at 10 am, weekend picks will start at 2pm.
Can you help? All equipment will be provided and great care will be taken to follow Covid-19 guidelines. The litter picks will last less than 2 hours. All picks will start at Arnside. There will be litter picks every day so progress will depend on the amount of litter and the number of people we have.

If you would be able to help with any litter pick please contact SusWoT. We have enough equipment for 24 people, including pickers, hoops and bags, as well as hand sanitiser and sharps buckets. Depending on the nature of the litter we can collect bottles and cans for recycling. We follow the guidelines from Bristol Waste when conducting litter picks.
